After more than 20 years at the University Dermatology Clinic in Hamburg, I have come to know skin in all its facets – not only as an organ, but as an expression of our health, emotion and identity.

Alongside that, my work as a make-up artist let me experience the transformative power of aesthetics and care at first hand. From this unique intersection of medicine and beauty grew a deep understanding of what skin really needs – and what it does not.
